Fall Recreational Soccer – August through November

Fall recreational soccer is for players ages 5-19.  Most teams will practice one or two days per week with games on Saturday.  Recreational teams are coached by parent volunteers and are meant to be fun as well as educational.  Our goal is that your children learn the game of soccer, develop their skills and have a good time. Practices start in August and games start the Saturday after Labor Day.

Early Registration for fall recreational soccer is $255.00 until June 18

Late Registration for fall recreational soccer is $285.00 starting on June 19.

Practices will start the week of Aug. 19.
Registered players will be contacted on or before Aug. 17 after the teams are completed and coaches are assigned.

Important Information to Know:

Start of registration: You can start registering your child in mid to late April. Registration inquiries can be sent to the club registrar at gmatthewsrsc@gmail.com

Registration deadline: July 9th.

Teams: Teams will be formed in early August

Notification to players: Selected coaches will contact players by early August with more detailed information about their team, team meeting and upcoming season plans

Practices: Practices will start mid August

Games: Games will start the first Saturday after Labor Day

Practice times: Practice times and days will be decided by the coach. They are to start either at 4 or 5:30 PM. Practice duration is 1 hour to 1.5 hours.

Game times: Games are always on Saturdays. The game times can vary on any given Saturday

End of the season: The weekend before Thanksgiving

Spring Recreational Soccer – January through March

Spring Recreational Soccer is based upon small-sided games of 3 (or 4) players on a side with games on Sunday. Our goal is to allow children of all skill levels the opportunity to play soccer in a fun setting. There are no practices. You simply show up on game days and play.
