Scripps Ranch United Competitive Teams:

The competitive program consists of 20+ teams ranging in age from 7 years to 19 years. Scripps Ranch Soccer Club teams consist of players committed to excelling in their development as a soccer player, and competitive coaches who are committed to training and leading the teams towards excellence. Competitive teams typically begin practicing the first week of May and conclude with the end of the SoCal Soccer League season. All or some of our teams may participate in postseason play; attending additional tournaments, including the SoCal Soccer State or National Cup.

During tryouts, we attempt to create as many teams as we can to accommodate those interested in playing competitive soccer. While we may not be able to select each child to play for a competitive team, we will do our best. If there is interest and desire we do not wish to discourage your child. We strive to place the players on appropriate skill level teams and have them play at the appropriate skill level for league play.

Each team is assigned a professionally trained and licensed coach. As with any competitive team, players are selected based on their desire to commit to the team for an entire 7 to 9-month season. Players that are successful in developing their skills are often moved up to the top team of their age group for postseason play where room is available.

Scripps Ranch Tryouts and Player Selection:

In an effort to achieve success at a competitive level, the Scripps Ranch Soccer Club conduct open tryouts annually for all players interested. Tryouts are not limited to residents of Scripps Ranch.
We reserve the right to cancel tryouts, schedule a makeup tryouts, select players at anytime, complete teams at anytime, limit number of selected player at anytime, add players at anytime, drop players at anytime (if already paid, pro-rated registration fee refund will be granted)
